Can You Have Too Much Protein?

Whey Concentrate vs Isolate

Vegan Protein Powders

Which supplement should you really take? There's definitely a lot of supplements out there but they're not all created equally. Protein powder is arguably the most popular, but is it really the best supplement to take, especially if you already get enough protein from food? What about creatine and all the research on it? Caffeine is also a great stimulant supplement, especially for a preworkout. But really, which one should you take first?

My favorite supplement is PF’s videos, which supplement the brain with the oh so scarce nutrient “Quality Information”, the more videos you consume, the more likely you are to achieve whatever fitness goal you may have. 💪

Creatine Monohydrate definitely helps and is one of the most researched supplements out there.
Protein powder is great for people who either cant eat that much protein from whole foods, or are on the go a lot.
Omega-3 is just a great supplement for general health and I would add a proper multivitamin aswell.

I used creatine for a few months when I was a athlete. The best way to describe it is "it unlocked a new level of strength". I'm not talking about super-strength, but it would push your 100% to 110% max, like raising your plateau. However I didn't felt any speed increase or any effect on recovery.

Creatine and protien powders are definitely some of the best supplements but if i had the option to choose more than i would add fish oil(Omega-3) and vitamins (based on my diet)
Thanks for video and i hope you have a great day :)

-> bad diet: multivitamins (maybe omega 3 and specific vitamins to)
-> lack of calories: whey protein
-> good diet: Creatine mono daily (maybe caffeine before hard workouts to)
-> me as endurance athlete: Beta alanine daily

I'm almost 1 month into taking creatine monohydrate and the weight gain had already kicked in. Damn that sudden few pounds increase is quite difficult to see on the scale but my physique looks better. First time in my life I have been proud of my body.

Those really are the only supplements that might provide a benefit - great summary! All the other supps, unless deficient, provide next to no benefit and are usually for people who seek shortcuts that do not exist

The 3 basics are: protein powder, creatine, and omega 3

I think similar to your protein powder argument, EAA's (not BCAA's) can be beneficial for people following diets which are a little lower in essential amino acids (eg. Vegan or Vegetarian diets)

For me (by priority):
1.Creatine (+ Strenght).
2.Fish Oil (Overall Health).
3.ZMA (lack of Magnesium).
4.Beta Alanine (Im just trying it and i think its helping me, may be placebo).
5.Proteinpowder (I try to get my protein from whole foods, so its not that important to me).

Unless you're eating loads of fish every day, Omega 3.
Creatine if you've been lifting for a few months. I started 4 months in and got seriously boosted gains.
Protein powder is a must-have for people who struggle to get enough protein
Decent multivitamin is perfect for anyone who can't eat a certain food group (for example, I have a mutation that makes certain foods lack taste, especially veggies.)

I’d also recommend trying green tea, I already drank green tea pretty often before I started lifting and a lot of people drink it anyway, it’s pretty helpful for your muscles and really easy to take, most people already have it in their homes.

I have recently taken a month off creatine and caffeine (all pre workout). It has been rough.. I won't lie. I have noticed a drop in motivation and slight drop in strength. I look forward to restarting them shortly.
