Started this technique this year and had my check up today. My dentist said my oral hygiene was perfect and it was my second appointment of my life where I have not needed any follow up work. Thank you for educating!

Glad I'm not the only confused person on electric toothbrushes

I put the toothpaste on the brush then turned it on. The toothpaste flew off across the room. Note to put toothbrush in mouth before turning on.🤔

Thanks for the video!! I just tried an electric toothbrush for the first time and was surprised at how weird it felt. I was worried I was hurting my gums, but next time I’ll follow your guidelines and practice getting use to it

I have gum problems and never knew how to properly use an electric toothbrush until I saw your video. Thank you!

When using an electric toothbrush the normal idea would be to brush in outer, chewing, and inner surface. But most of the time people may not clean the inner surface long enough, which causes them to feel stick film of plaque left near the gumline of the back molars. So would solution would be to start from inner surface of the teeth, because the inner surface needs more attention than the outer surfaces.

i’m glad i found this video, went to the dentist today for a checkup and they showed the video for brushing properly with an electric toothbrush. just found out that you can just hold it still at your tooth for 3 seconds and you don’t need to use it as if it was a manual toothbrush.

Thanks for the demonstration. Please also say something about how to care for the brush after use - wash the head and rub it with a tissue paper to dry it or a towel to dry it, store it upright or flat, etc.

Thanks for this. I have been told I have gum disease, and my dentist recommended this particular electric toothbrush as part of the plan to fight it. It just arrived today, and this video is far more informative than the instructions provided!

I use one and I love it i can’t get myself to let the toothbrush do the work I still use it like it’s manual but obviously not as extreme 😂

It's interesting how the math doesn't add up. She mentioned that you need to keep your toothbrush (let's say that we have the Oral-B one) for 3 second on each tooth in a quadrant, 3 x 7 = 21 seconds. Now we need to do the same for above and inside, that's 3 x 21 = 63 seconds. And then each quadrant should take approximately 30 seconds, totalling 2 minutes. But if you follow through with her initial instructions, your total time should be roughly 4 minutes. Am I missing something ?

Do we need to keep the brush static and rotate our head in all directions like shown in the video.😁😁

I switched to electric yesterday and never looked back. Nice present, it's dragging me kicking and screaming into the 21st century 🤣🤣

Thank you so much to this video. I’ve been using an electric, rectangular toothbrush for a while and I didn’t realise that I had to use it like a manual toothbrush.
