There was a dark period of my life where I would wake up late, go to McDonalds, eat and watch the office, then play video games for 5-7 hours at night. My life sucked, even when I didn't realize it sucked. Looking back, here's how I would change my life.

Main Takeaways

1. Become a value creator by identifying problems, educating yourself, testing solutions, and sharing your experiences through writing on the internet.
2. Writing for fulfillment is a powerful way to curate and share valuable thoughts, and you don't need to be famous; it's about distributing the value you have to offer.
3. Emulate successful creators by observing what they do, how they do it, and who they interact with, and keep learning and growing on your self-discovery journey.

After watching your videos, I launched my course and I just got my first 3 students, and I couldn’t be happier! It feels great to have people believing in me and my product!

Woke up and went to church. Ended the night with Dan Koe. Easily one of the best days simply because my mind was engaged

I found out in January 2023 that I had severe mixed ADHD. I was 56. For the rest of the year I have been working on myself and incorporating both medicine and none meds means that work for me. I have also been working on self improvement and learning a new skill. In January for my one year anniversary I will be starting my own business. I am the happiest I have ever been. I only picked January because it is my one year Ann anniversary. It is never to late to learn and grow.

“You will probably find it boring until it is one of the most interesting things in the world to you”

I can relate to many of these points. My habits have deteriorated over time, or you could say I never really worked on them consistently. I always knew deep down that I needed to improve my habits, but with a heavy workload and a scarcity mindset, time just seems to fly by, and I haven't made any progress. Today, watching this video has given me a clear plan for changing my habits. Just like you mentioned, it seems that writing is the key. After watching the video, I felt motivated, and here I am, trying to start by writing this long comment. Thank you!

The way you articulate yourself is as if you’re speaking my thoughts. From the video games & life references, to the McDonald’s sausage sandwiches. This is why I enrolled into DE. Thank you for the videos you create Dan

Said and done! I have unsubscribed from all channels that were solely for consumption. Now, believe it or not, there are only two channels left. Your channel and a fitness channel. I am so glad to have taken this step. I've been following Dan for about a year, and my life has changed significantly since then. I am so grateful to have come across him. He is truly my mentor and a gift from heaven. Thank you, Dan, you are a unique person.

Really loved the idea of treating yourself like a scientific experiment. I live by myself and always feel like I’m both the monkey and the scientist working together for a better reality.

Clear-cut, straightforward, no-nonsense. I've noticed this is a pattern with you. To your great credit, I found myself stopping, rewinding and mulling over your words multiple times.

Great video! Online classes are way more stressful than normal ones. You have more freedom but if you don't get that connection from your teachers you just feel lost in all the information they are giving you.
It's really easy to eat whatever and do not have a rutine for anything when you are in your house all the time by yourself. Some people have no choice, but taking online classes. Making better choices takes time, but it worth it, you don't live twice.

I’ve just finished reading Dan’s book ‘Focus’. It’s the 2nd best book, I ever read (The Fountainhead is still No. 1). ‘Focus’ is so intelligent, to the point and engaging. This book makes you think and change perspectives on so many aspects of life. I can’t recommend it strong enough.
