We were just camping in S. Dakota 2 weeks ago (july). Got pounded with walnut size hail several times, and locals said "oh thats nothing." Thankfully, our solar panels still work!

It amazes me how little people pay attention to weather, especially when on the road. The “it will never happen to me “ mentality is really dangerous. Just checking a weather app is not good enough, there are weather YouTubers who do an amazing job at breaking down the weather by region and even state.
