Shaking the Tree

1. From the Wu Ji posture, raise your arms out in front of you, parallel, about shoulder height.

2. With hands in loose fist, pull your hands alternately to your chest, as though hauling in something at the end of a rope.

3. Repear, continuously, starting with slow large movement, each successive one faster and smaller until your hands are at your chest.

4. Immediatlely shake your whole body, head to toe. The more relaxed you are the more you will feel the vibration throughout your whole body, including your internal organs.

5. Repeat 3-9 times.

6. End by Pulling Down the Heavens three times.

thank you CS...I have noticed involuntary shaking in my YIQUAN SHI LI PRACTICE...your vid last week on WU CHI was solid...last night i watched a physical therapist do a vid on fast twitch and slow twitch muscles and development of same...I have been contemplating that idea in relation to YI QUAN wherein STRUCTURE and FA LI builds and releases tremendous power and energy which the western mind has difficulty grasping...I have been wondering if development of fast twitch and slow twitch muscles by ZHAN ZUANG TREE STANDING is the key to unlock the answer...take care and thanks for share
