Helldivers 2 seemed to come out of nowhere and dominate both Steam and the PS5 concurrent player charts. So much so they had to limit the players on the servers which I've never heard of a company ever having to do before. What made this game so popular so quickly? Is it actually any good and should you play it?

Be warned that if it crashes, it may not properly exit and lock steam into thinking it is still running. So you may never get into a server to play, but it can push you past the refund period.
