What The Hell Is Going On With Helldivers 2?

The original Helldivers launched in March 2015 for multiple platforms, and almost nine years later, we finally have a sequel. Helldivers 2 launched on February 8th for PS5 and PC, offering a bolder and arguably louder experience.

Despite shifting to a third-person shooting perspective and a live service, it's as you'd expect - Super Earth wants the Terminids and the new Automatons wiped out, and it's up to you to comply. Though it's seeing some strong player counts, breaking the record for PlayStation Studios' titles on Steam, there have also been some issues.

Matchmaking problems, controversy over nProtect GameGuard on PC - and that doesn't even get into the new War Bonds system, which some call "pay-to-win." Find out which issues are more substantial than others.

There are some connection/crash issues but those will be fixed. The game is so much fun! I was surprised how good it is.

Playing solo on PS5 and having a good time with it. Fortunately, you can turn the difficulty down from the harder ones meant for co-op. Nice that you can also pull back the field of view so that the camera isn't so close to your character.

There's zero pay to win here. Anyone arguing it's pay to win just simply haven't played it. It's pathetic. An average player can make 20-40 warbonds an hour casually. Additionally you can earn enough super credits to permanently unlock the premium battlepass in around 10 hours of casual play too. It's nothing more than an expanded armory. No real money required tho that is an OPTION. Ship credits you earn around 1500 - 2000 per game. That gets you strategems etc that cost between 1500 and 7000 ship credits. All 3 currencies you earn each game. There's no pay walls. And I wish these clout chasing channels would stop parroting these fake controversies and provide actual information. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

This games crashes so much, it resets my PC with an ERROR, I can usually connect to the online service, but its trash when I'm progressing through a mission and the error blue screen ....😒🤬

My only real concern is with the anticheat and how I've heard of it straight up bricking peoples computers. If there's even a chance of that I'd rather not tempt fate. Which is a real shame because the game looks fantastic.

The game is awesome! I already have more than 500 super credits without spending a penny, and my friends playing on PC are rarely having issues.
