I got lucky and got a dog that enjoys exercising herself. Her favorite thing to do is run up and down one little hill we have. When she runs down the hill she kinda hops down it like a deer and gets so excited and looks like she’s having so much fun. It’s adorable and less work for me so I’m all about it

One of my rescues, a chiX, groans while rubbing her face on ours; it’s like she’s trying to crawl under your skin with you. And she doesn’t wag her tail, it’ll go from straight to having two curls if she’s happy.
She’s also the dog that got most intimately involved with our last two kitten rescues, who were weaned too early. She would (actually still does) solicite them to dry-nurse off her. She also does this when she’s tucking them in for the night; she tuckers them out with play then offers them her belly. Since the first arrived she’s added, the dog has, ‘purring’ which she imitates with a soft continuous groan. It’s like she’s paying it forward, “I was rescued so now I’m going to rescue other pets!” ~ Sekhmet

My Golden-doodle likes to eat grass too but she's been doing this weird thing where she sniffs the ground VERY intently and then pushes her front paws into the ground like she's trying to break through the ground. I think we have voles or something and they are driving her crazy. I'm trying to train her to stop that behavior because it usually leads to digging and she's already dug quite a few holes. We keep her on a leash now when she starts acting like this and correct her when this behavior starts. Your channel has helped us teach our dog the type of behavior we want which makes life so much better. Thanks and keep it up!

When I first got my dog, I'm pretty sure that she was so used to sitting before being given a treat that whenever we hold a treat in our hand or she knows that she's near the treat box, she sits down and looks up at us. At one point, we taught her shake and so whenever she saw a treat, she would sit down and wave her paw. Whenever my dad holds a treat though, she starts to beg, which I think is the most adorable thing ever.

My dog does a lot of weird stuff. She loves sleeping on top of shoes. She also loves rolling around on her back and growling. My favorite thing that she does: She sits in the backyard doorway and just sniffs the air in the evening. I think it's peaceful for her :)

Fun video! Our dog does strange things for sure. What do you think of this one? Usually, after we've played, she'll grab a twig, lay down, and proceed to break it apart. Doesn't eat any of it but just seems to enjoy the 'snap.' Does this with crunchy leaves, paper, weeds, etc. We watch her and only let her do it to stuff that seems harmless--she never eats any of it--but man, does she get excited to tear those things to tiny pieces!

My dog will yank and eat grass before we toss the frisbee. He seems to do it as an excited behavior. He use to bark excessively for the frisbee but we nipped that behavior really quick!

My dog loves grass. She has favorite patches and if we don't stop by them on our walks, she's disappointed. Haha. When she eats it her eyes close partway like she's just in heaven
