Cooper heard everything. That's why he went to the office. That's why he stayed at the door. I think if he actually leaves for hours we could have gotten better footage. But that's just my opinion.

I did this experience here are my results:

My dog was playing with the news paper and my coffee cup(so I thought). Then he turn on the coffee machine, sat on couch, reading the newspaper... then he got on his two feet walked over to the kitchen and made himself coffee... till this day I never went back home

Maybe Koda is more protective and alert when his family is there versus guarding an empty house. It would be interesting if you or Chelsea were with the dogs and someone knocked on a window unseen.

Do one where you guys actually leave and then check the footage when you get home. They didn't do anything because they aren't stupid. They know you didn't actually leave and could probably hear you in the garage. Dogs have unbelievable hearing.
Edit: Just looking back also, I am now certain they knew you didn't leave. The fact that you said that the wall you banged on went strait to the office, and Cooper went into the office... He was just trying to figure out what you were doing in the garage

You know that they can hear you talking right? I think you’ve underestimated their hearing. You being in somewhat vicinity to the house where you can come into contact with the wall that connects to the house means they can hear you talking clear as day. They basically know you’re still there...
