Leader Check Valve Frustrations!! are they JUNK!!?? and pulling taps end of season...

The same thing that saved my season is now also my biggest frustration!!!! They definitely ARE NOT JUNK! I absolutely love Leader and their USA made products! But these check valve spiles have some serious issues that need to be addressed if I'm going to continue to use them... Scott Dunn, who also has a youtube channel you must go check out!! I've had good luck with the stubbies. The cv spouts were a pain, stubbies go luch quicker pulling and tapping.

I feel your pain man! I stopped using those check valve spouts years ago. I was running into the exact same issues that you were. I was carrying around a little easy out/Screw Extractor device with me when I was pulling Taps. I would pull the ones out that would separate like that. I was buying them at the hardware.

Man that stinks. I’m not giving advice but I cut all my stubbys out cuz of the pain in the azz they were. Didn’t seal, hard to get off, or would pop apart during freeze thaw events. That was 10 yrs ago tho. Maybe better now. 👍🏻

Check valves are a pain. Stubbies are worse tons of leaks where stubble attaches to drop connector
