I been using multiple of these business’s platinum cards for a few years now. Sure they help but most people don’t understand the concept of using these charge cards. People abuse credit cards..

It’s a charge card. There’s no interest because it’s designed to be payed off in full every month. He gets points back for his purchases which I’m sure he converts to travel expenses. So he travels first class for free because he gets automatic status with airlines, car rental agencies and hotel chains and he pays for everything with the points he earns by buying investments that he’d buy anyway to generate capital. They key is to have the cash available but use the card to pay then the cash to pay it off.

Amex is normally a charge card and gets paid in full automatically on the due date out of the cardholder's bank account. No interest, just annual fees that is offset by all the card's benefit.
