Count Dooku is a very underrated character in the star was universe and personally one of my favorites. I am glad we got to see more of his story in Tales of the Jedi. This is a video about what caused his fall to the dark side.

Not filled with rage like maul or vader didn’t make selfish choices all in the name of saving one person like anakin didn’t constantly try to kill obi wan in the name of revenge all he wanted was to save the entire galaxy and sidious prayed on that and slowly turned him evil just to kill him off like he’s worthless this is truly a tragic story

Dooku, a man with honorable intentions and integrity to keep his oaths. But that's what Sidious excelled at, didn't he? Twisting those good intentions to serve his own ends.

It's the same qualities that made Dooku a great hero that makes him a great villain.

Dooku was an idealist who envisioned a better world free of corruption, free of war and hate, free of archaic devotion. However, each time he wanted to help the galaxy he was rebuffed by yoda snd windu. He fought in the Mandalorian wars and saw all the terrible bloodshed and suffering it brought. He left the order for good reason, they failed his apprentice and son like figure, they failed the people of the galaxy, but most shamefully, they failed their own order. They became the thing they swore to destroy, an archaic and powerful paramilitary organization that does the dirty work of a corrupt Republic.

One of the most underrated villains in all of Star Wars, yet one of the most sophisticated and tragic villains of all time and the embodiment of the quote "The way to hell is paved with good intentions", noble intentions that Sidious prayed upon.

Count Dooku was criminally underrated. As it aged with these new series has become show it's flowers . One of the few duelist who can stand 1 at 1 with Yoda. The only force user who was trained with the most powerful Light Jedi Grandmaster and the most Dark Sith Emperor Master

This is so well edited. Dooku was definitely one of the most well-intentioned Jedi there was. He stood for the people, not the senate. Of course, though that all changed for the most part when he turned to the dark side. The Dark Side corrupted him and his intentions. Also can I ask how do you get 4k footage of these clips?? Cos it's sharp, it's fantastic

That last line: "You will be more powerful than Lord Sidious". Could it be Dooku had a vision of the Skywalker family future and this was some form of redemption? Knowing his end was coming and he was tired of all the killing, betrayals and lost, that he basically was aiding in training Anakin for what was to come? Someone mention to me a book called Lost which was about Dooku talked about how he mental state near the end, so I wonder if the that line and the book are connected.
