I'm not gonna lie, this might be my favorite story in the new Canon.

I think Dooku is an underrated character, certainly an underrated villain.

The early parts with Dooku as an initiate and padawan gave me some serious Harry Potter vibes in all the best ways
Along with Master and Appentice this story really makes me want a game of some sort set in the pre-TPM era from a young jedi perspective.

I love it. I just wish the actor voicing Dooku sounded more like Christopher Lee.

I like how they are fleshing out Dooku in the new canon. Dooku left the Jedi Order with noble intentions but like you said "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" that and they fleshed out Ventress's canon backstory along with Dooku.

Honestly, Dooku is the most interesting and underrated character in Star Wars, and the fact we get to know more about him is a refreshing good step forward for the franchise

This is definitely my favorite canon SW "book" thus far. Just wish it was longer. I finished it in two days. Also, it would be cool if they made a series of these audio dramas about Dooku training under Yoda/getting into trouble with Syfo Dyas, and Qui Gon training under Dooku, as well as Dooku training under Sidious. These are great novels, but I'll bet these characters have a ton more stories that could be told.

BTW that thing you said about the young Dooku parts reminding you of Harry Potter...well, I kind of had an idea (don't know if it's good or not)...what if they got JK Rowling to write a series of novels about a group of pre-Clone Wars padawans and then they adapted those into movies? I could be on board for that.

I was not expecting to thoroughly enjoy this story as much as I did, I can't recommend it enough to people.

I like how their taking notes from Legends for Dooku's character, Dooku left the order in legends because he felt wasn't doing what it was suppose to, and the mission where he and a jedi task force were fooled into killing mandlorians sent him down that path.

I was really surprised by how good this was. I’ll agree the beginning took some warming up for me but once we get our first revelation, you’re hooked.
