The V Bar push down is my main tricep builder. For me there is 1:1 correlation of progressive overload in weight and tricep size. And my triceps got of doing rest pause sets with it

That back shot of the arm and upper back is literally insane, dude the muscle mass is just crazy. You probably have more muscle in that shot than I have on my whole back 😂

STRONG carry over to dips and diamond push ups, too. The first time I tried this variation I could already push the full stack because of my prior calisthenics training.

I tip I always give to anyone is to relax your grip as much as possible as this helps to target the muscle you are training better, grip hard and you divert some of the muscles used into hands, wrists etc.

I would say that shoulder movement is perfectly okay if It is your triceps that are failing. Both GVS and Herso do them in that fashion, and It feels the best for me.
