Starting my women’s unsupported fastest known time attempt of the Oregon PCT!

I started my unsupported women’s fastest known time (FKT) attempt of the 457 mile Oregon PCT at 5:52 am! I need to bring all of my food and gear with me for the entire trip and cannot get any support for it to count as “unsupported”. I am starting out with a 38+ pound pack, which is way heavier than I’m used to (35% of my body weight). The current record I am hoping to beat is 16 days, 4 hours, 44 minutes (28.4 miles per day average). I’ll update as I go!
