German quality was bad because you had to many different tanks, Russian quality was bad because the quality of the Parts were bad. Thats why the Sherman is the best tank and not a death trap.

I kinda dispute entire argument here... no Russians didn't use one set of parts for every tank. Far from it. In fact between light tanks, heavy tanks, lend - lease tanks they had more parts problems than Germans. They just had sooo many of them that it didn't matter.
As for engineering - it's exactly opposite. Early war tanks like Panzer III & Panzer IV were not over-engineered, and were brilliant tanks that served well without breaking down as much. It was in fact late war designs that suffered from over-engineering. Panther, Tiger, Tiger II, Ferdinand... these were a waste of resources. Iterative improvement on Panzer IV would be far more effective. But it didn't matter anyway since Germans had crippling shortage of oil - which was the thing that really broke them on the eastern front where distances are large.

This is a little disingenuous. The Germans had different MODELS of tank for different jobs. Every part made for that model fit every model of that tank. The Russians had (mostly) one tank that they tried to use for everything and its design and quality of parts where extremely low compared to the Germans. Not sure if he is a Soviet apologist or honestly doesn't understand that having different tools for different jobs is better than trying to do everything with just a hammer.
