You have to realize that tanks usually go very slow anyways. The problem would be it’s unreliability and being to heavy for the ground/bridges to bear

This information is a little off, they made two version yes but the 2nd one was the improved version. After they were discovered, they attempted to destroy their creation before the soviets could obtain the tank. The turret of the 1st maus and hull of the 2nd was beyond repair so, they used the hull of the 1st tank and turret of the 2nd! It’s currently in a museum and says so inside the capture description.
