when I restrict my calories to much I tend to hold more water and end up looking fatter despite the scale sometimes being lower. starving yourself is non sense, aldosterone cortisol etc increases. Optimising hormones is the way to go.

I have been a fan of DR for over a decade and when I went vegan 10 years back, I went from being a fairy lean, but still puffy highly active fitness instructor to string bean (w/ veins on my forearms) lean. I am in Natasha's group for like minded support because so many around me think I am "a weird freak of nature". I try to teach them the truth, but so few are open to it. Yet, at age 50 I am effortlessly lean w/ amazing energy and balanced hormones. Thank God I never took birth control or any other pharma drugs or restricted my calories. Thanks again for another great video of TRUTH!

It's taken me years to get my head around why you're right. I finally got it. It's just amazing as it's actually so simple. You are right, and this should be taught in every school and university around the world. Unbelievable that it took some crazy maverick cyclist vegan to figure this out. But then of course they can never admit the truth because it would mean saying no to meat dairy and eggs.

I must admit and give credit where credit is do! It’s amazing that you have stuck to your vegan belief and keep spreading the vegan message! My wife and I are new vegans. And our family and friends are so against it! They are all sick on meds and over weight! But they have all the free wrong advice we can’t change anybody to try to be vegan. I realized your right people what to hear good things about there bad habits they are lazy don’t like change and they can disagree with us but they will still be wrong. So it’s amazing how much you have been able to change people

Absolutely spot on DR esp weighing scales. I recently walked 900km across Spain, first thing people ask is 'how much weight did you lose?' Although I went down three belt notches I lost no weight. Added muscle... I weighed exactly the same as before.

Finally quit birth control a few months ago. Warning to other ladies: don’t do it. It still affects my body in less than flattering ways I.e. masculine hair growth on my face. Disgusting. Cramming in the sugar and hoping to heal this hormonal issue. Really hoping it works.
