It is never funny to intentionally upset your cat 😢 Thank you for calling those people out.

Please be careful with using tinfoil as a deterrent. I tried to use tinfoil to keep them from climbing my wallpaper, but what happened when I was in the other room is that my cats literally started eating (and swallowing) the tinfoil. That was a fun trip to the vet. Lesson learned: Don't introduce new materials in the home without testing the cats' reaction to it first.

My cat didn't like belly rubs when I got her but now that I've had her for 2 years she's started showing me her belly and don't mind me petting her there. Ultimate Trust achieved ❤

One reason I love Jun’s Kitchen - he does use his cats for content, but in a respectful way that acknowledges & honors the cats!

The only thing my cat hates is my brother-in-law. Lili knows a bad egg when she sees one. 😺👍

I’ve been a dog owner since forever and am a first time cat owner. I adopted 2 stray cats and I can’t tell you how your videos are always so informative and helpful ♥️ thank you

My cat is a weirdo. He loves water, is indifferent to tinfoil, he rolls over for belly rubs and it's not a trap, isn't scared of cucumbers (I've never put any object behind him to scare him though) and loves when I pick him up for kisses - sometimes he'll try and hold on to me if I go to put him back on the floor/bed 🤣
We also play fetch, go for walks and he can sit, move to a spot I point at and stand on hindlegs on command.

My cat hates not being able to get into a room where people are. So no one sleeps with their door closed cause he'll just keep meowing. Odd thing is it's like he just wants to check on us. He'll go in and walk on the bed or stay for a bit and then go back to his bed or a chair he likes.

I adopted a female cat (my first female....always had males) who was being rehomed due to her owner going into an assisted living facility. I was told that she did not like wet food, but I incorporated the wet food into her daily feedings immediately. She absolutely loves it, and she is verbal about it also! She didn't know what a scratching post or pad was, but after being with me for four months, she is becoming more interactive and being more "cat." I agree with your disgust of people who frighten cats!

I've had people make fun of me because when I approach one of my cats I generally offer a palm down hand with fingers curled under before touching them. I've literally been yelled at that the cat knows who I am. Yeah, I get that. To me it's a sign of respect and they can go do something else if they don't want to interact with me right now.

My cat used to be confused by being picked up. I would only do it when I needed to relocate her for some reason. She would be tense and like “wtf” but she quickly learned that I would let her go, be it at the destination or earlier if she wasn’t having it. Nowadays, she loves it! Will lean against my head purring up a storm while I scratch her back. Usually I gotta be the one to put her down because she does not wanna! Lol. Building that trust is so rewarding

My 16 year old black void is the most needy yet least cuddly cat. She hates being held and always needs to sit physically higher than you but can't go 10 minutes without attention.

The only exception is the couch because realized she gets more pets if she lays down next to us.

My Wegie Maxwell is all about physical affection. He always wants to be in my lap, lying on my chest, or having me pick him up and cradle him like a baby. He gives hugs, kisses, nose bumps and loves to have his belly rubbed. I have never had a cat who gives so much love and is so eager to recieve it as well.

As someone who grew up with dogs and a mom who is allergic to cats, your content has been so helpful for me. This cat was always on edge around me for a long time because i had been treating him like a dog

Being neurodivergent, I really resonated with your comments about overstimulation. My cat and I are so much more in sync with each other now - it's nice to wake up to my cat running up on the bed and stopping short to meow for head pets.

I have always the nicest cats, who beg for cuddles, meow until I pick them up like babies, answer when I call them, are trainable, blink back at me and… sneak in the bathroom to jump on my bath and have a swim 😂.

We recently brought in a stray cat after getting her fixed and vaccinated and all of that. We’ve discovered she doesn’t get scared if she hears a short loud noise like a text tone or one car noise or something, but she does not like sustained noises like the microwave, bathroom fan, coughing etc. it’s sort of interesting learning what bothers her and what doesn’t! She is slowly adjusting to her indoor life and we are learning so much about her.

Used to have a Turkish van and he would sit on the side of the bathtub or by the pond outside and stick his front paw in and scoop water. He was adorable

One cat likes being held & carried, the other prefers not at all. They both don't like sudden movement or loud noises if they're moving across the house, but seem unperturbed when they're lounging & cat-napping - as long as whatever is loud or moving isn't coming near them. 😎
Great video, as usual, Cat Daddy! ❤️♾️❤️
