It's rarely talked about but the Older Brother/Younger Sister dynamic between Sloan and Will was one of the best parts of her character

“We fucked up. Let’s just live with that now.” Words to live by.

Olivia Munn never got the recognition she deserved for how well she inhabited this character, IMHO- PLUS... she's so GOWDAWFUL gorgeous!!!

"She's going to go on the air and say she thought it was a seven when it's really a four and then moved up to a five and she's really sorry but also now it's really a seven?" I love the absurdity of this.

It’s a shame Sloane and Will didn’t get more time together on the show. I love the proud, protective sibling dynamic they have

"You want me to lie on television" LMAO. Truly exceptional writing right there.

"The Japanese words for four and seven sound alike"

I love that Will, being a lawyer, doesn't need any more information. He can just instantly work out the loophole with this only.

One of the best and quietest examples of leadership comes at the end of this scene when McAvoy answers the question of whether Sloan should lie on camera (around the 2:05 mark)

"If there's any fallout I will standing right next to you and in front. I will always be standing right next to you.. and in front."

Wish we had more real life leaders like that.

"Standing right next to you and in front." This may be the line that best describes Will McAvoy.

I love Sloan. Even at the very end, she was willing to live with the consequences rather than try and get around it.... even if she's not fluent in Japanese (and she is), she certainly has a Japanese sense of honor.

Kinda telling that Sloane asks the question "You want me to lie on television? From a newsdesk with the ACN bug in the corner?" when the notion doesn't even seem to occur to half of our politicians...

That's what friends do.

2:28 And if there is any fallout I will be standing right next to you and in front, I will always be standing right next to you and in front. Thats what a damn good general would tell his troops before battle.

This is what/how a true leader treats his people: both Will and Charlie prove how good they are in this scene.

This show "speaks" to the humanity (and humility) in us all. Sloan is great and Sorkin is a genius.

Even Will makes telling a lie sound like a noble thing to do. The guy is a guru.

Some of the greatest scenes on TV are from this show.  They talk fast ... and smartly ( tons of it going over the head of "onlythequestion"... and while Jeff Daniels and Sam Waterson get most of the ink, Olivia Munn continually knocks it out of the park, chewing up the scenery time and again.  She should get some great movie roles in the future.  ( aside from comic book sagas, which do pay a lot )
