The official trailer for the new HBO series 'The Newsroom' from Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network) and starring Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer, and Sam Waterston. chronicles the behind-the-scenes events at a fictional cable news channel with an anchor (Daniels), who, together with his staff set out to put on a news show in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles and their own personal entanglements.

Did you not hear the stats listed in the trailer? We're not even as free as other countries like Norway, Canada, France, etc. We're not what we once were and we're certainly not as great as many of us think.
