To practice natural doping, carry out five breath-holds. Simply put, take a normal breath in and out through your nose then pinch your nose and hold. Then, begin walking and slowly increase, going into a fast walk then a jog, and finally, a fast jog. Build up a moderate to strong air hunger and once this air hunger is very strong, let go. Then, breathe through your nose but get your breathing under control. Breathe normally for a minute and repeat this exercise five times.

When you do a breath-hold after the exhalation, you increase carbon dioxide in the blood and lessen your blood oxygen saturation. Your blood bank or sleep, which contains 6% of your red blood cells, contracts in response to the drop of oxygen. Therefore, you can naturally increase your oxygen-carrying capacity and splenic contraction takes place relatively quickly.

The second effect is erythropoietin or as it is mostly known, EPO. When you do a long breath-hold and you are decreasing your blood oxygen saturation, your liver and kidneys become hypoxic where they synthesize the hormone erythropoietin which causes maturation of red blood cells in the bone marrow. Generally, this takes around 3 to 4 days to take effect. If you want to dope naturally, bring breathing into your sports performance

I would love to hear your perspective on EWOT.

Would a 3 min cycle at 80% SPO2 with 1 min recovery on O2 generate an epo response? Or would it be more effective to skip the pure o2 and just recover on air?

if we keep our oxygen saturation below 90 for 24 seconds or more then we can increase epo by 24% or more.. so here is the I can do this with one of those Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitors on, step 1. Do 30 deep in-out breaths hyperventilate style, step 2 hold on the last exhale, I will be well below 90% saturation and be able to hold for almost 2 minutes without to many issues, with small air sips if I doing this correctly to increase because I have seen you say to practice 5 breath holds on the exhale twice a day, I have done that for some time now, but my question on that does that increase the EPO since typically 30-40 seconds is not enough to get the oxygen saturation below 90% for any amount of time. many thanks for your work, , ,

Can I do this method instead of Wim Hof ? I do every morning Wim Hof breathing but recently hear that it can be damaging. and want to say I really force myself when I do Wim Hof, because I can't get deep breath most of the time due my anxiety/depression.
