Paul's ability to deliver clear and concise content in his deep, resonant freq is highly appreciated

Proper grip is also important. That means only holding the designated end of the wrench handle. In practice, I have often seen people holding the wrench along the entire length of the blue handle, which is incorrect. I tested both methods in the lab myself, and there is a significant difference. With an improper grip, the wrench's tightening torque is more than 20% higher!

Thank you for the lesson, Ladies and gentlemen.

The click on the Huber+Suhner torque wrench is so satisfying that it will Pavlov-condition you and your lab assistant to correctly torque all of your connections.

The importance of torquing the connector rather than finger tightening became apparent to me when I was trying to hook a stiff RF cable to my DUT and seeing the connector body of the cable rotating on the spectrum analyzer's port. 😅

Give a thumbs up if you've ever used a spanner or plier instead of a torque wrench on connectors

Very nice but we are missing how to hold or where to place the finger.
