Thank you! Within ONE MINUTE, you explained how to use it. Unlike other videos where they talked for 5 mins or more before explaining.

51 years old and you just taught me how to use a torque wrench! Thanks. I guess I'm too much the computer nerd.

When done using a torque wrench, you should set it to 0 ft/lb or its LOWEST setting. Leaving it with a torque reading other than its lowest setting or 0 for a long time will also ruin the torque readings.

Thanks dude, I never used a torque wrench, so this was a learning experience in record timing. I appreciate what you do for us newbies.

I prefer pulling up because you have more control. Especially when you are torquing 100ft-lbs or higher because if the wrench falls off the bolt, you are gonna get hurt! But good point about your back muscles!

My father has a torque wrench just like that one, but is 30+ years old! We take good care of it, like you said never ever dropping it and never forcing too much it beyond the torque set. Works like a charm, every 5 years we take it to adjustment (just as a precaution) and it's always fine. Seriously, a very good wrench! :)

thank you for being one of the few who made a video on this that is under 10 minutes long. I've been doing basic repairs for years and am now starting to dig deeper into the engine, just needed a quick tutorial and you supplied that for me. Thank you!

Thank you for the video. My torque wrench arrived ten minutes ago and the instructions included are not clear - they assume you knew already how to use it. Your video makes it perfectly clear.

7Westwood, Here is what you are looking for: How to Change a Wheel Bearing (long and detailed version)
Every vehicle has its own torque specs so you will have to figure that out, but for the van in the video, that is how you use a torque wrench to torque down the axle nut. And that wheel bearing has been good ever since!

Just watched like 5 different clips on how to use a torque wrench and most of them were over 8 minutes long and confusing as f#%+. This was by far the best explanation and straight to the point. Thanks Chris !

Chris's videos are concise, precise, fast, with excellent videography. And he thinks like you would think. Nothing else comes close to his videos. See for yourself. He needs a TV show.

I just want to say thank you for not having an 8-10 min video on this. And cutting right to the point👍🏼

I just replaced my brakes and rotors, so I purchased a torque wrench to get my lug nuts back on to spec. Just one problem I had no clue in hell on how to use one! You helped me so much. Just wanted to say thank you! Great video!

It's also a good idea, when finished using a torque wrench, to adjust it back to zero. Thanks for all your great videos. Every one I have watched has been top-notch.
