This is Matthew, he has done around 4 hours of driving with me. He has been driving regularly in London city with his parents.
his test is in 2 days time from when this video was filmed.

This lesson we worked on country lanes and identifying road signs to be aware of the hazards coming up. This is his first time driving in this area, there are various speed changes and mini roundabouts.

This video is filmed during a driving lesson. It is filmed for educational purposes.

Throughout the video there are highlights to show how you should be driving safely.

The highlights in GREEN are what you should be doing.
The highlights in AMBER are hazards/Advisory faults
The highlights in RED are serious faults in a test or when I have had to intervene and tell Matthew to slow down or to stop

I hope this video will be useful! :)

Passed my test 2 years ago and have still watched drive London ever since. Glad I found your own channel.

This video could be like a hazardous perception video. Really enjoyed it. Thank you.

Constant late braking, in a car without dual controls, and yet you remain so calm, it shows how much much experience you have with learners. I would have found the situation quite stressful :)

24:53 "Loose Chippings" the only things you can do to protect your car is slow down and to protect your windscreen squirt lots of water onto it. This can reduce accelerated particle damage.

Country lane aha, you should come to Somerset. GREAT VIDEO

Should have gone towards Black Park (turned right through that dual carriageway), they become really narrow country roads then. Another thing that test center car park has a strange layout one of the hardest for the reverse bay park if a couple of the bays have cars parked already.

I’ve never actually driven on Country roads. Since i have 4 more hours left would it be worth practicing some? I heard Chingford has some difficult Country lanes?

Good quality video as always!

This is something that I'm really struggling with - noticing signs, road markings and sometimes even giveway lines. How do I improve?

37:05 The authorities seem to have erected a chequer board approach sign for this junction, a bit like on the hill top one on approach when you needed to do the sharp turn prior to landing at Kai Tak airport.

I am qualified. Nearly 2 years. On the way home I missed my turn straight ahead of Mr is a country lane luckily I had my android auto on maps. Or I would have ended up in a different city.

I can tell Matt has driving experiences, not completely new to driving. He is driving an automatic car, not manual which makes it a lot easier, no need to think about clutch control.

if you don't do 60mph on country road, , is it major fault or minor?
