I need something for my working memory test, they will give us 15 random numbers and we'll have to instantly remember them and also write them in reverse order . I don't know how we let them do this to us but I need help now, I'm a pilot, my career depend on this .

I have one question before I remember any numbers should I remember the table 1st what I mean is the 1=t, d 2=n? Then I can put them all together to a word for the number?

This works great if you have a decent amount of time, but I'm really having trouble remembering long numbers that I've only seen for a few seconds with that technique.

Than you Simon! This has been really helpful. I do have one question though. In the last example (the one with the sock, the cage, the bee and the pope), how should I remember the order of the numbers? I can picture it, but I suppose that later in time when I remember the image I will be confused with the order. Which came first? The cage or the sock? the pope or the bee?
I don't know if i'm explaining myself here... english is not my first language.
