If I'm making us dinner and it's dog safe, I'll separate theirs so I can avoid seasonings except parsley or cinnamon.
Then, I'll make them a plate.
I think their health is better than if I only fed them dry kibble and canned dog food.

I remember my Great Dane had his stomach flip and he layed sitting up staring at the wall for about an hour until we noticed he didn’t come to beg at the table for dinner scraps, my mom was in tears, thankfully we got him to the vet in time to safe his life, (his sister whined a lot while he was gone.) when he got back he wouldn’t even move, he had his own mattress in the living room, eventually we started giving him white rice and cooked deer meat, after a month he has made an incredible recovery and he is doing great now! :)

In Brazil it's very common to feed our dogs white rice, as it's something we eat everyday, great to know it's actually good for them.

Our family Alsatian enjoyed bone broth, cooked chicken, eggs and rice. at least 3 times a week. The other 4 days he drank Tea, potatoes, beans and pork. He had what we had and loved us for it. The most loving yet fiercest guard dog in our neighbourhood by a considerable margin and the oldest. We thought he would never die, he seemed immortal RIP Rover 1969- 1985
