Commercial property behind us put up another building which required a power line pole put up (maybe like 20 meters from my house). It has a trio of transformer distributors. I started having auras since early summer and increased ringing behind my left ear. Referal out to schedule a neurologist and CT scan. Probably going to check the emf levels too.

500 kV gives a lot of electromagnetic radiation. it is dangerous to build houses near high-power lines

So 0.2 or 0.3 is the maximum for sleeping areas? I heard 0.2 mG or below, but this is hard to find due to nearby distribution lines

Ions produced by HV lines are another problem. How to measure pollution of that kind? Do you know how bad long term exposure to them could be? Magnetic fields from power/distributions lines are babies compared to that!

I’m interested in buying a house and it turns out there is an electric high voltage transmission around the house. The distance is about 140 meters from the house. I really like the house, but I’m very worried about the EMF effects it will have. I have bought an EMF meter and have measured it. In the morning, inside the house the measurement was 0 uT and outside the house the measurement was around 0.1-0.2 uT. In the afternoon, inside the house it was measured around 0.2 uT and outside the house it was measured around 0.4 uT. Should I worry about this number? And should I buy the house or not?
