EASY Transmission Install Trick!

If your Mustang transmission won't go in all the way when you're installing it, this trick will make it easy. WORKS EVERY TIME. This solves a transmission that hangs up during installation. That is excellent. I guess I’m an idiot for not hooking up the cable first. This is awesome and thank you for showing us how easy it can be. I’ve had issues trying to route the clutch cable so it’s not binding up and causing more friction inside the cable.

You can do it by yourself, while installing the trans. Just use a prybar in the bellhousing opening for the clutch fork and push the clutch fork forward. No need for someone else, or for anyone to be in the car

I'm going to try this and let you know how it went, I'm also considering loosening the motor mounts and a small jack against the suspension to raise the motor back
