I'm finding it's as much about the when, you eat something, as the what, you're eating. Timing can be key. I appreciate your videos.

I am also diabetic, in my experience, carbs are much worse than sugars, just by eliminating carbs my sugar readings have improved drastically

I'm surprised it was that low with 70% cacao. I usually eat the 90 or 95 these days - your tastes may change over time

Jeez! My teen daughter loves the 90% cacao bar. Nothing can deter her, not even the bitterness.

I eat two or three squares of Lindt 90% chocolate after dinner every day. My dinner is usually a healthy protein with steamed vegetables topped with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. No spike in my blood sugar at all.

Thank you for everything you do God bless you. If possible can you please do one on coco powder with milk. Apparently it regenerates stem cells.

Eat just one or two squares after a meal NOT the whole bar. Melt it & drizzle over some strawberries, or eat it with some walnuts.

The whole bar? I eat just one block 95% after 1 meal a day, and still feel guilty on keto!

Had to research this cause today after seeing a new doctor for something else afterwards he said here's a treat for you. I said, doc I can't have this I'm newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic, he said listen to me young man, I'm 53, he said eat these everyday, 1 before lunch, 1 before dinner, and have 1 as a late night snack. I guarantee you will lower your A1c in time and get off that metformin. I bet this doctor was in his late 70's. He said this is how he lowered his a1c and been off metformin for 5 plus years. It was the brand, dove with almonds. I then said well ok, but how many a day you eat. He said, look on my desk, I counted 10 in the lil foils. He then proceeded, this is why I hand them out every day to everyone. I so miss the old doc's that know the best home remedies and still share instead of pushing pills.

One of the things I had to change when I became a diabetic was the chocolate. I had to move to dark chocolate and now I don’t like milk chocolate it’s too sweet for me. I really learned to adjust to liking things that are better for me.
