For those wondering abt the 50-70 moves, one area where it can apply is endgames where you have different pawn races, and king shouldering and so on.

I think the "en" at the end of the word is not listened but what he wanted to say was 15-17 moves, which is crazy (does not make sense 50-70)

Fischer said he can calculate 20 moves a head in game he can do 50-64 move ahead but 20 moves is enough.
