The truth is that it just takes practice. Be prepared to fail, expect it. It’s going to happen no matter what you do. So you might as well just get it out of the way.

Then at some point throughout your journey, you’ll be able to do them without having to think about it.

But you would have NEVER got there if you didnt go through your hard work and training.

Thats it, thats the key! Now go out and start practicing!

Learning the fundamentals has helped me a lot. Since I got fakie shuvs fairly locked down I’ve been able to commit to trying 360 fakie shuvs, front shuvs and other variations a lot easier since I know what it’s like to land a fake shuv.

I have a tip for u guys when it comes to sets. Whenever I don’t feel comfortable committing to a new bigger set I jus tell myself to hold on to the board and bend my knees when I land. Doing this I jus landed my first 8 and I’m working to a ten rn
