Unique kick flip tip... I've never heard this one before. Certainly makes sense.

I've been skating for over a decade. I've never heard one person explain this. Excellent fucking tip, my dude. 🎉

Can’t say enough about this guy’s ability to communicate. Absolutely no arrogance or “cool kid” attitude. Well spoken and mannered. Refreshing.

This 100% changed my kickflips. Changed my center of gravity in the best way

I'm not a skater but I'm so happy that my feed has rewarded me with so many philosopher skaters. It's cool to watch and I really love when someone who loves something is good at it talks about theory. I remember going on along walk with a math PhD Stoner dude in the '90s who talks so lovingly and kindly about skating and what it meant to him and then would go off on these mathematical tangents no pun intended that I couldn't really follow but we're very beautiful and interesting to listen to.

Dude I think you just solved the question countless skaters have about why they can’t do certain tricks. Back foot is complete overlooked and not thought about by people that know how to do it already.

Best skate tip that has ever been recorded to video.

Bro, I’ve been skating for a little over 20 years and I thought I had most of it figured out.
But watching your videos has taught me to be more mindful and present when skating, to use my big boy brain to figure out problems instead of just winging it.
Thank you!

I have now been fed like, 5-6 of your shorts, as a life long skater, and a teacher of 30 or so years, you seem to be a really great coach. Well done.

Never thought about this. Have had kickflips on lock for multiple decades but now I can see it. It’s the counter pressure to the flip in the pop.

My lord I wish I had this guy's videos back in the day when I started skating. Dude explains things so well.

You make me want to skate soo bad whenever I watch your videos. I’m an old head now, but your tips and suggestions are so simple and easy to understand it makes skating (and the tricks I used to do) feel accessible again.

Same with heel flips. I learned to skate with super tight trucks when I was younger, but when I switched to loose trucks, I had to learn about how important the placement of my back foot is for all of my flip tricks.

This man is a smooth skater but was born to teach for real

Man that first kick flip was so high and CLEAN. Mine were never like that when I was a young teen.

The kick flip is such a beautiful trick. Love it.

It definetely helps flipping the board, but I like to keep my back foot almost where I would ollie. Gives me more stability.

I used to skate when I was younger, watching this dude not only gives me the drive to get back into it, but to apply all the things he’s saying, even the clips of him working with his students, the way he explains exactly how to do something is SUPER easy to understand and honestly makes me think I could pop my first kickflip in no time.
