I just finished painting the front bumper of a Tesla Model S with spray cans. I didn't use these; mine came from Touchup Direct. It was real automotive paint, but the cans in this video are better because of the adjustable pattern, which mine didn't have. Bottom line, if you do it right, you can do small touchups with spray paint and it can actually look professional. I'm a DIYer, not a pro. I learned a lot from this video.

I think this is the first time I ever seen a can that can spray like a paint gun this is not only cost-effective the cleanup as well

Hello to all of you out there in Idaho! What a great video! Well organized, informative, no extraneous material.

I had never seen that style of aerosol can. I had just purchased some paint tinted to factory code and put in rattle cans, from a local auto parts store which has an automotive paint focus, but they did not have these!

S1918 midcoat/intercoat over the whole panel for blending looks like a neat trick! How did you prep the whole panel? Scuff with a grey scotchbrite, sand (with what grit?), or ???

Had my wife lock her keys in her car running before work. Now we've gotta do this to the a pillar haha. Thanks for the video! Didn't notice you guys were local!! I laughed.

Wow! So impressive. Beautiful blend, and more importantly - the only blending video I have found using rattle cans. Thank you for filling that gap. Since the new paint was going on the left edge of the front door, why didn't you need to blend left into the rear door as well?

I have to say this is the best informational video on how to use a spot blender I have found. Your responses to the other questions have been great too! I would like a little clarifier. Do I need to sand off the old clear coat on the rest of the paneling that I am not doing a repair on or does the spot blender save you time on not having to sand it? Also, do you apply the spot blender over the new clear coat as well?

Very interesting that there was no polishing of the final clear coat required.
