My brain is moving back and forth from Nintendo gameboy to homologous recombination.

He Rec, he protecc, but most importantly... He is responsible for homologous recombination.

I've just finished my molecular biology exam with the highest grade.
One question was specifically about this, and I wouldn't have been able to understand this process if not for your video.
Thank you.

Bless your soul. My genetics professor, a pHD directed me to this video. That's when you know your claymation is top notch

Greetings to everyone!
I have a question. From this live-saving video, I assume that RecBCD enzymes (like the SbcCD) are capable of repairing DNA damage by Homologous Recombination in Prokaryotes. My question is that if some use proteins to prevent RecBCD or SbcCD activity, like Gam proteins, could this be sufficient for blocking the repair of damaged DNA and leading to cell death?
Thanks in advance
