I think there's a reason they used the OG switch at the start - the Switch 2 isn't going to be OLED and that's the reason for those bezels. Give it 3 years and we'll get the OLED Switch 2. That's Nintendo's version of a "Pro" mid-gen refresh.

I believe the extra “button” on the front is not a button after all, I believe it is a touch sensor to navigate just like stream decks or like the Apple TV remote for navigation. That will work well with the joycons being used as mice!
