That "sync" button is to release the plastic mouse attachment.

I think you completely missing that the Joy con attach to a separate rail when they demonstrate the mouse function. It's similar to how the original Joy cons had an additional rail attachment that slides on. It seems like these one for the 2 just snap on.

I think the "C" button could still be the "C" button. The footage we're seeing here is a render, not pictures of an actual unit. They could be making the C button nondescript in the render to have a big unveil of the feature in the April Direct.

12:50 One thing to keep in mind is that the player indicator light is now facing you, instead of being rotated 90 degrees like the old joycons, so even if the connector's color is always blue/red, it's still pretty easy to see which player you are. I'd be fine with different color connectors though, as you won't really see the inside track often.

5:09 that extra button will be a Shortcut button. In the settings you go to the option that fast tracks something you set it for. Power menu, a certain game, NSO, whatever u set it to.

Look at the video right before the Joycon slides, the plastic is attached with the straps then after it finishes sliding they come off.

I think the reason the receptors are blue and orange is so that we know which side is left and which is right. With both sides having a usb c port, I can imagine a lot of people accidentally getting the tablet upside down by accident and trying to connect the joycons

If people are paying attention to the video, you have to press a button to release the joy con so unless they he-man or hook the joy out there or rip it out it is not an issue whatsoever people just looking to try to find issues where there are not any pay attention again and look at the video

Summer would be a good release date. However, it comes down to the Switch 2 game direct. April might be a look into the features with gameplay to demonstrate them. I still say a fall release only because it's a safer bet.
