Why would one follow the ball on a down the line shot if they make their approach from the same line? Answer: One would not. One would follow the ball only when it leads you to the center radius of your opponents return trajectory.

Question for you guys. I just played a match with a junk-ish player and she kept hitting high deep lobs over and over that I felt like I had to hit like an overhead smash but it didn't really work - seriously she hit them over and over. Any tips on how to hit those high deep lobs and stop her in her tracks?
