Is the Angel of Yahweh also Yahweh?

In Genesis 48:15 and 16, when Jacob is blessing Joseph's children, he pronounces three stanzas: “The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day." Now, in the third stanza you expected to be "the God who did something else." That's not what you get. "The angel who has redeemed me from all harm." And here's the kicker. "May He bless the boys." In Hebrew, the verb is singular. You cannot translate it "May they bless", like God and the angels are separate. No, it says, "May he bless." You say well, which one is Jacob want to bless the kids? The answer is yes. Both. They're interchangeable. God and the angel, they're both Yahweh. Check it out!

At 82, I am very old to have a mentor ... and a younger one at that.
But, I credit you with challenging me to understand the often skipped-over passages in Scripture. Being a fan of detective stories, I love sleuthing through the Bible.
Very early on, I remember reading the Emmaus Road story and incorrectly assuming it referred to the NT and after thinking about it, realized ... of course, it was not written or compiled years later. So, Yeshua is recounting his appearances in the Tanakh ... but where? That began my quest.
Shortly thereafter I happened to click on one of your YouTube videos ... later purchased a couple of your Kindle books.

I purchased the unseen realm after watching many lectures from DrMSH.

Dr. Heiser, I want to thank you for breaking up your presentations into manageable-sized pieces. I have watched several of your longer presentations, which I enjoyed ... but felt mentally drained if I watched the entirety in one sitting. Even though I believe I grasped most of the examples given, I believe I would have been better served if I paused the presentation so I could act like a Berean.
If someone of normal intelligence listened to a shorter presentation, they will more likely gain solid comprehension rather than being overwhelmed by your thoughts which are revolutionary to conventional wisdom and most religious traditions and teachings.
