If you don’t have the money to lose, then don’t invest it. I wouldn’t even consider investing any significant amount until you at least have some type of an emergency fund set in place. Then, if you can’t handle the ups and downs in the market psychologically and it starts to drive you crazy, stop looking at your investments everyday and try to just dollar cost average in by investing a certain amount every x amount of months (whatever fits in your budget).

Dollar Cost Averaging! Don’t try to catch the bottom because you will miss it. Ease in in increments. Dollar Cost Averaging.

*People are buying stocks w/out even looking at the company's income statements. Bad move!*

Great video, Nate!! Thanks for addressing this- a big thing is: don’t invest money that you can’t afford to lose! Nothing is guaranteed and despite the fact that the market is low now and despite the fact that you may have a good amount saved up, we can’t get overconfident because that’s where we fall.

Amazing content as usual. Great content and you’re a great motivation for my YouTube channel.

I just started to invest in the stock market and I am trying to be very careful, your videos are being very helpful, specially this one. Cause I started right when I noticed the effects of coronavirus in the market.

Thank you for making this!! Many new people are really hesitant and are really antsy to invest. But it is a long-term game. Great video as always

Don’t just blindly “buy the dip” and copy whatever YouTuber “Top 3 Stocks I’m Buying”!

Do your own research and make your own choices.

1 mistake I'm seeing is investors investing in dividend stocks that may not pay a dividend because of solvency issues. Some dividend yields are too high to justify a payout during these shutdowns / closures.

Great Video! There are going to be some great companies that will start to thrive during recessions. Everyone should have their own plan and reasons behind their investing strategy

Good advice, don't go all in at once. DCA!

That's a great point. Get all of your basic needs and stuff handled first. Then after you get a big emergency fund, investing is allowed. This is advice I should've listened to long ago.

Been nibbling and hoping things continue to go down. I think the most important thing is to just be consistent and own great businesses.
