Ranking How USELESS Luigi is in Every Mario Game

Luigi's usefulness is a roller coaster from game to game. Sometimes he's just as good as Mario, and other times he's more helpless than Princess Peach.

Today, we're looking at Luigi's character in every mainline Mario game and ranking him from worthless to elite.

You grievously underanked Mario Galaxy Luigi. He can actually get past the levels really fast having that higher jump. Luigi in Mario Galaxy is actually pretty insane, he should have been in S too.

Luigi isn't completely worthless in Mario Odyssey, he can make grinding coins really easy and you can buy moons with that.

There's a couple stars in Galaxy 2 that Luigi is a lot better for getting, such as the green star in Stone Cyclone Galaxy where you need a triple jump to reach it. His higher jump requires less precision for it. He can also flat shortcut some levels in Super Mario Bros 2. Take the second stage, where his crouch jump lets him skip the Phanto and key by jumping to the higher ledge.

In Mario Maker 2, if you fail a level from the history mode too many times, Luigi will actually ask you if you want him to show you how to beat it.

6:30 he isn’t ENTIRELY useless, nintendo made it so that people who aren’t good at the game to just be able to buy power moons for coins and luigi helps by giving you coins therefore he does actually give you power moons

I find it hilarious that he doesn’t help in Odyssey.
At this point, Peach has been kidnapped so routinely, Luigi actually doesn’t care anymore and would rather focus on his balloon game while Mario fixes shit.
