Ranking How USELESS Yoshi is in Every Mario Game

Yoshi's been a more than reliable sidekick for the mario brothers for decades, but there's still plenty of times that he just sat around and did nothing,.

Today, we're looking at Yoshi's character in every mainline Mario game and ranking him from worthless to elite.

His debut wasn't in Yoshi. Yoshi is a spin-off puzzle game that came later. His debut is in Super Mario World.

4:21 Nah, Yoshi is elite in Galaxy 2 for one main reason: the infinite flutter glitch. Sure, it may not be an “intended” use of Yoshi in that game, but you can use it to skip SOOOO many annoying planets, guarantee that you will survive a fall, and have so much fun going out of bounds and exploring planets before you are intended to. Yoshi is BROKEN in Galaxy 2

He’s amazing in Wonder! Doesn’t take any damage (outside insta kill traps), can eat enemies and items alike. Can spit back out items for teammates, can swallow fireballs and other projectiles and shoot them back at enemies. Has a flutter jump built in (other characters needs the badge). Can carry teammate on his back across the entire level. Can use tongue to reach items other characters have to manuever their way around to even get.

He’s a solid 100/10! I feel the game is way too easy whenever I play with him..

In SM64DS if you turn a Koopa into an egg, and then fire it at a line of goombas, each goomba give you a blue coin.

SMW has yosh shell abilities that makes yosh better, like yellow with shockwave landings, and blue with flight, and, most importantly, disco shell with yellow and blue, plus when yosh spits it out, red. SMW DESERVES

I know it's not technically a mario game but I was hoping to see Yoshi's Story on the list. It is sort of, kind of a sequel to Yoshi's island.
