Stefan the Great is also one of most loved and respected ruller in romanian history, he ruled the entire region of Moldova (half is in Romania today and his remains are at Putna monastery in Ro.), I am romanian but my son’s middle name is Stefan because i just love history and respect our ancestors. Much love from Romania to our brothers and sisters over the river Prut (Moldova), we remain united by our shared history, culture, tradition, language and beliefs and no unjust border should separate us from our blood brothers.

About cutting off Moldova from the Black Sea
That south region belonged to Moldova but it was given to Ukraine by Russia to buy their loyalty and basically isolate Moldova to prevent all trade routes so that it would always be dependent on it.

Basarabia - the real name of the region - IS ROMANIAN LAND ripped off from mainland Romania, bro. It is a big chunk basically stolen from the country. That's what it is. People on both parts of the SAME country are rooting for reuniting, but...alas, politics. I'm pretty positive they will get back together eventually.

@Brian Velez - It wasn't taken by Ukraine, it was taken from Romania during WW2 by the Soviet Union, later distributed to Ukraine when they got independence . It was so that it would be divided

The OFFICIAL LANGUAGE in Moldova is ROMANIAN !! not russian.

There is NO ''bright'' future in the Rep. of Moldova without Romania. There is no case, it is no appropriate term here for ''bilingual''. Many Moldavians (especially less young ones) know Russian, but it doesn't mean they use it [to know, to understand, to speak a language - all have different meanings]. Their Native language is Romanian, doesn't matter that they know others languages. Russian for Moldavians is justly seen as the language of occupants.
The Moldavians (as the other Romanians) aren't Eastern-Latino, they are Eastern-Romance or one can say Eastern-Latins, but not Latino... they don't come from Latin America. This is like to say the British are Eastern Gringos.
About the so-called Transnistria's population: according to the ''Transnistrian censuses'', which are known for artificially increasing the number of the Russian population (i.e. in the favor of the colonizers) and for diminishing that of the Romanians (in the detriment of the native population), yes, ''officially'' there are 1/3 of Russians, but, there also are [maybe a little more than] 1/3 of Moldavians (i.e. Romanians).
The Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese, French are siblings to the Romanians. The Moldovians aren't [only] siblings to the Romanians. The Moldavians are Romanians. They are part, they constitute Romanian people as a whole. We are the same people by name ROMANIANS. Thanks for this video!

Pls dont say Russia, Russia is a bad country for Moldova because we are a part of Romania and we are Romania BUT... a part was ripped off and today we are with no same president, country and more, but Romania and Moldova have the same traditional food mamaliga and language but Moldova be and in Soviet Union and the language its a little bit change and we are romanian no moldovian in Moldova its Alot of russian.

I am from MOLDOVA and yes we loveee wine. Now i live in France and we ship wine from Moldova to France because we love the wine🤷‍♂️. Most of the people are doing wine at home, somewhere to 100 litres to 2000 litres. This autumn i goed home because we want to make wine🤷‍♂️.
