This video explains:
Few European countries might disappear in the future.
Firstly, we have Moldova where support for joining Romania is continuously increasing mainly due to two reasons. Firstly, they share an extremely similar culture, and secondly Romania is a part of the EU which means Moldova could benefit financially from this union.
Kosovo also has a great chance of uniting with Albania, as over 94% of its population is Albanian.
Lastly, we have Belgium where the two regions called Flanders and Wallonia have completely different identities and languages.

Hi Romanian here, we technically are not different cultures. They were apart of Romania’s founding and were politically separated and forced apart but we’re one people. It’s not the same as for example, Hungarians, Romanians, Albanians, Bosnians and Romani people (which all have their own factions that we could discuss at length) We’re all very different cultures in close geographical proximity but Moldova is essentially Romania’s Albania/Kosovo. We love Moldova but the Soviet mindset of us being different people is ridiculous and we all know the truth.

Romania and Moldova aren't extremely similar, we're basically the same. Moldovans just have more russian influence on them, and the USSR education system made them think they're different, going as far as to say that moldovan is an actual separate language, even though it's literally just romanian with some minor differences, just like saying that american is different than english.
