Solution: How to fix - Unable to create a new partition from the unallocated space or unable to format the partition. Getting Windows cannot be installed to this disk (show details) warning. Then try this, Restart the computer, press F10 to enter the BIOS Configuration settings, tab to Boot menu and Disable UEFI Boot support. Save configuration changes.

Okay so after messing around in my BIOS for a while, I found the fix. I have a gigabyte motherboard so I had to hit f2 for settings. And the I to set my boot option to Legacy only! Slightly different but none the less thanks for the video!

I was freaking out. Over 6 hrs of trying and failing I finally made it. I had to create a iso file and delete the partition. That worked for me. You have no idea how helpful your tutorial was even tho I could not find the setting for disabling the USB drive but it still worked for me. 😄😭🥺🙃 Suddenly my pc did not recognize my two new ssd drives. Hope it works now...and they do show up. 😆

I had this issue, quit the installer, cleaned the disk using DiskPart— launched the setup again, and got 0x80042417 instead — same text in the error. Then when I close the error window, it said the drive was “unallocated space” and now it’s installing just fine. Very strange. 🤔

Diskpart is a working way for GPT disks, but I have more important data in my other drives and cleaning command would clean all of my HDD, now now can i get RID of this ? by rufus i have made both MBR+GPT type USB, MBR type too anmd then made GPT type too, and NOT a single type helped me. What to do....i am really confused.
And Legacy boot also not supporting it. even after disabling the UEFI mode.
