This is way deeper than just improving communication, it's giving them attention and a sense that you actually care, pretty hard, and must practice

When I ask questions, they say I ask too much questions.

I try my best to do this and it actually works very well. I want to add something for people who are teaching themselves to be active listeners: if you realize mid way through the conversation it is not too late to correct yourself and do as this gentleman explained. It's okay if you mess up you're learning and we are all human.

So don’t respond with a me too story and instead ask good questions and have a collaborative mindset, is that right?

Sounds good. Happy 2022. Thanks for sharing. Good listening is a powerful thing. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of Lights Who invites us to hear His word and let His love to fill our hearts daily — the Way to change the world His Son died for. Blessings

Hi, guys! I really like your channel, even though I'm not a designer. Keep it up!
Can't resist but asking: do you have marketing vacancies in AJ&Smart?

My first problem is that sometimes i get intimidated to the person talking to me example my teacher or anyone older than me. So i end up spacing out and overthinking what to respond to them instead of listening and understanding their message😭 Second is that no matter how hard I try to listen sometimes I cannot just get their point that's why my friends sometimes laugh at me because they think that my mind is floating. Idk if this is normal or my communication skills are just low and BAD. This is one of the reasons why I don't want to talk to people I'm not really close with. Just looking at them gives me anxiety and it sucks because i want to be better and be good in communicating. 🥺

Can you give some tips to us neurodivergent peeps on how to do this?

Unfortunately I've done this but never get asked questions in return so the relationship becomes one sided 🤷🏻‍♀️

So, you saying that it improves your communication skills, right? But, how about during interview process?

It takes too long for my brain to work so I end up thinking about what I wanted to say later on that day 🤦‍♀️

Heard this before. Maybe I'm missing something but just listening and not giving other people a strong sense of yourself. It didn't leave any impression.
