You can see Jesus Christ throughout the Old Testament. Even in the creation week account of Genesis.
Light is established as coming into existence on the first day, but it's not until the 4th day that the light receives an image or a body as a consolidated source with the creation of the Sun, Moon, and stars. Jesus Christ is represented primarily by the Sun (the Son - God loves puns) but also is represented as the faithful witness in the Moon in Scripture as He is the head of the church.

The Moon primarily represents the church, which has no light of its own, but can only reflect the Sun. The Moon's light is also imperfect and waxes and wanes, just like the church does as an ambassador of Christ.

Just as the Sun, Moon, and Stars were created on the fourth day so did the Son of Man arrive to be crucified on the 4th day of God's 7-day plan represented as day-as-a-thousand years, or 7, 000 years. The crucifixion, which freed humanity from the bondage of sin was in the 4, 000th year of God's plan or the 80th Jubilee (80x50), which was anticipated by Moses returning to Egypt (symbolic of the world) at the age of 80 to free Israel from physical bondage.

This above notion would have offended my "sophisticated" sensibilities even two years ago since I previously subscribed to abiogenesis, shared-common descent, and deep-time. Since being saved on June 18th 2020 I now trust the word of God and have discovered that the Biblical account is completely reconcilable with the evidence, just not the modern lens of interpretation prevalent among scientific consensus. Non-uniformitarianism, deep-time, and macro-evolution are the Ptolemaic System equivalents of the modern age. They're completely internally justified and possess explanatory efficacy to greater and lesser degrees, but just because something displays explanatory utility doesn't means that it actually has parity with reality.

I'm completely confident in the Biblical account, and the harder I press into it the stronger it presents itself.

You are Jewish? So was Christ and the Apostles and so were the New Testament writers. Christianity is in fact a Jewish religion in it's origins. So what's the problem?
