Bless ur heart, I hope you're doing better with em now. I've had mine for a couple of years now and I hate them! I have no choice but to wear them because I work with ppl daily up close and I can't b toothless af, I keep sores so I'm going to spend a lil money and get the top and bottoms that screw in place. I get absolutely no satisfaction from eating anymore, I have to do this if I don't I'm gonna get way depressed. Ur beautiful BTW keep ur head up pretty girl.

I ate only mac and cheese for weeks when I got my bottoms 2 years ago.
Honestly, I slept in them for months to get used to them. I clean them and pop them in with no fixadent and go to sleep.Taking small bites and chewing a little on each side makes it easier, and they won't shift as much.
I find if i bite into a roll on a sandwich, my denture sinks into it the roll and causes them to come loose.
Anything I eat will a fork and not bite directly, then I am fine.
My are still not normal. But I learned to make a fixadent mix that lasts longer. So now my sss only sound truly like I have a lisp when 6-8 hours go by and the fixadent is wearing away from eating and drinking.
I also find if i do anything that causes my body temperature to rise ( working out) the fixadent last half as long.
I eat anything I want.
Cookies, chips, pretzels. Steak, I cut up tiny.

Just had the rest of my upper and lower remaining teeth removed and now using my immediate dentures.I sing and play bass guitar in a classic rock cover band so a main concern was if I can continue to enjoy singing.I see that other new denture users sing to get used to them with there speech so I'm that much more inspired now to continue singing and and know that its helping me at the same time with my regular speaking. I'll try to be update my progress as I go along. Best wishes to all and smile on 😁👍
