Thanks for the tutorial...a bad landing can cost big $$. Good landings are THE most important skill to acquire. As a note, I would not apply flaps during a turn. Also, a strong headwind will require more throttle during landing. Crosswinds are another story.

This is why it's a great idea to join a flying club and fly in their field. I suggest it even if you're flying small park flyers as you will pick up bad habits learning on your own. Taking a lesson even if you think you're a good pilot you will realize how much you can learn from old-timers and progress a lot faster.

I prefer to keep a little power on especially with the Turbine to minimise spool up time in case I need to go around.

I did most of that naturally. Seemed the obvious way to land. I’m no expert though, cracked up my jet a few times but I think we can agree there are easier aircraft to land. Thanks.

Thanks, nice video. Not sure a motor off glide then motor on landing will work in my setting. We have high trees threatening all around my fields. I land under power much lower and tighter than you fly here. How about doing another landing video including some crow landings from height? Or how to bleed off speed from height without crow? How to side slip to lose altitude? You are a good teacher, now please go a little further with your landing instruction. These trees are killers.

Take off and landing should be in the same direction, otherwise you don't fly a correct circuit. With other aircraft in the pattern it becomes a big mess when you fly like this.

My holdback on this video is not first trimming the plane for landing - does not matter what your flying or its configuration for slow flight is - It must be trimmed for slow flight! Landings or flying around, missed approaches, touch and goes: all this is based on slow fling the airplane. Kinda' makes it important don't you think?

Great video and explanations! What flight simulator is that, may I ask?
