I actually just switched from GEICO to Progressive last month after a 6% rate hike. I was actually able to significantly increase my liability limits on the auto. My combined premium for both auto & renter's with Progressive is right at 80% of what my auto alone was with GEICO. It was definitely a good move for me.

False, insurance always make billions in profit at the expense of customers they are in it for the money in partnership with governments( auto insurance is mandatory).it is just pure greed.
